Job Description
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, servers, printers, scanners, and peripherals.
- Manage and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi networks, routers, switches, firewalls, and network cabling.
- Monitor network performance, uptime, and security; ensure minimal downtime.
- Perform system upgrades, patches, and preventive maintenance activities.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, OS, and network-related issues (Windows/Linux).
- Coordinate with vendors for AMC, warranty claims, and hardware procurement.
- Maintain inventory of IT assets and documentation of network diagrams.
- Implement basic network security measures (antivirus, access control, backups).
- Provide L1/L2 technical support to users and ensure timely issue resolution.
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies and data security standards.
Qualification
Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Computer Hardware, Networking, IT, or related field
Certification
Optional*
- CCNA / CompTIA Network+ / Hardware Certifications
- ITIL Foundation (Added Advantage)
